West is where the crazies live. That is what my mom always told me. I didn’t believe her. She always mentioned that they didn’t have any education. They killed animals and ate them on the spot without evening cooking them. They had no way to preserve anything or took any baths. It didn’t matter. I knew she had to be wrong. I have been reading the dictionary for a couple years now. There are so many words that could mean so many different things. I think if my mom just didn’t understand the people out west. They probably didn’t understand the meanings of things that they were doing. West is the way to knowledge, at least the knowledge that I didn’t have. There has to be more then just hanging out with my friends here. I go to school and just hang out. I want some adventure. I just need to figure a way to go out west. I think I have manage to convince some people going west to take me. It’s amazing how the words can be used to manipulate a situation. Maybe I should be careful doing it. Although it doesn’t sound like most adults really pay attention to what they are saying or talking about. There are a few do and I can tell when talking to them. I just need to go west and have some fun. I never thought a dictionary would be the answer to me heading out.
